Speak one on one with many of the women who lead various important departments in the City of Frisco.
Hear what is happening with the CVB, Senior Center, EDC, Collin College,
Development Services, Frisco Library, Frisco Fire Department Fire Safety Town, Frisco Health & Food Safety and Frisco ISD Board member.
Spend an evening learning how they got to be involved with their current position,
ask for advice, ask their opinion, share your thoughts or concerns and ideas about Frisco.

Texas Business Women of Frisco meet monthly to support and encourage women in their development personally and professionally, providing training, mentoring, networking, laughter  and much more.

Come enjoy lively conversation with other professional women from the area, bring a friend, or business associate or relax with friends in this welcoming atmosphere.

Since the beginning of time, women have played an intricate role in history; however, it was just in 1980 when a group of women noticed that only 3% of our text books were dedicated to women.  Girls had few role models and many assumed that women did nothing important. 

We believe that Women’s History gives us the power and inspiration to succeed. Come and be a part of this discussion as we talk about Women who make a difference.    Be ready to share your story about a woman that has made a difference in your life, be it in history, school, family or work, it doesn’t matter.  Women in history who paved the way; Women who are breaking down barriers; Women in our community who keep our families strong.

Discover TBW Frisco

Looking for a place to meet other women, learn something new, network your business, how about mentoring other women, or are you looking for a mentor?

Texas Business Women (TBW) is a non-profit organization of women helping women through education, support, and advocacy. As a local chapter, TBW Frisco is part of this organization.

The purpose of TBW Frisco is to educate and empower women through knowledge, sharing, and support.  We do this best by mentoring other women, sharing our experience, encouraging each other to 'step outside our comfort zones' and stretch ourselves. 

What makes TBW stand out is the valuable knowledge you receive from our guest speakers every month, from meeting others who have "been there - done that" and are willing to share the tips they learned along the way. If you have limited time to give to yourself, you owe it to your personal growth to maximize every hour of every meeting. At TBW meetings, you will learn something new, meet someone in a different profession, make a new friend, make a personal or professional connection, and always have some fun!

TBW Frisco meets on the first Thursday of the month for dinner, a guest speaker, and networking.  We meet in Frisco, at a restaurant or cafe.  Meal or dinner options vary depending on the location.

Our meetings typically conclude between 8:30 pm and 9 pm.  Whether you're a guest of another member or on your own, please join us. We have a delightful blend of women, excellent guest speakers, and a warm, encouraging atmosphere.  Share who you are, how can we help you, brag on yourself or someone else, and laugh with us each month.

Share small stuffed animals with kids in Frisco. 

Thanks to you we collected 29 stuffed animals for kids in Frisco.   Thank you!

Every year TBW Frisco collects stuffed animals at our Annual Holiday Spa Party, contributing those animals to local emergency rooms or health clinics for children being treated or with a family member who is being treated at the ER or clinic.

We collected 56 stuffed animals one year. 

Help us beat that number this year.  Bring your stuffed animals to any of our meetings in October, November or December, or email mail@tbwfrisco.com and we will be delighted to arrange a pickup.

TBW Frisco presents the 2011 Annual SPA Party

Come celebrate the holidays at our SPA Party on Thursday December 1st.  The incredible Embassy Suites Frisco Spa Botanica will pamper and relax us with their incredible services. Spa Botanica offers a complete menu of services from nail treatments to massages and facials. 

As a tradition for our holiday party, instead of a gift exchange, please bring a small stuffed animal or two.  We contribute the stuffed animals to a local hospital to offer some comfort to children entering the emergency room or receiving treatment.
